The special Christmas present for the millionth spectator at the Allianz Riviera
As a reward for the millionth spectator, who walked through the gates of the Allianz Riviera last June, Father Christmas organised a most curious event. And so lucky winner Laetitia, as well as her husband Stephane and their two children Eva and Ugo, were given to experience a magical moment that they will remember for a long time!
Their day included a tour of the Allianz Riviera way beyond anything they had ever seen before.
To begin with, the family was treated to an aperitif on the stadium roof at a height of 42 metres. Surrounded by 4,000 photovoltaic panels, they enjoyed a unique feeling of levitation, like floating between the Alps and the Mediterranean.
In suspension above the pitch of the Allianz Riviera, the lucky participants then had lunch on the maintenance gangway, nestled beneath the stadium’s mega-framework and with a captivating view over the Aiglons’ home field.
To finish, the family got a surprise when they came upon a temporary skating rink inside a Christmas Village assembled especially for them alongside the pitch.
That afternoon, the Christmas spirit was all over the Allianz Riviera, and even hours later, that Christmas magic still lingered on!
“We really got to see the Allianz Riviera in a different light. It was incredible. It was actually like we were floating, the view from the roof was spellbinding,” Laetitia told us, still under the spell.
For their part, the children particularly enjoyed their lunch in the heart of the Allianz Riviera structural framework: “It felt like we were inside a hut floating in the sky.”
