Olympus 2022 Tournament

On 21 April, the City of Nice organised the Olympus 2022 Tournament for its younger sports fans. Some 450 school children took part in this one-day rugby competition during their spring holidays.
25 rugby players were also on hand for this friendly tournament, including Christian Califano, a famous French player – selected 72 times on the national team. 
     
In addition to playing rugby, children were invited to personalise their T-shirts and make banners to cheer on the team they represented. Plus, each participant took home a bag of goodies filled with surprises. And the winning teams were awarded tickets to attend the TOP 14 semi-finals.
