VINCI Hackathon - Nice Côte d'Azur 2015

48 hours to reinvent customer experience for travellers and spectators

From April 10th to 12th, 2015VINCI and the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropole will hold an innovation contest aiming at designing digital applications dealing with customer experience in stadiums and airports and on motorways. This hackathon will run for 48 hours at the Allianz Riviera.

The VINCI Group designs, funds, builds and manages infrastructures and facilities that contribute to the improvement of daily life and of everyone’s mobility (motorways, bridges, tunnels and urban bypass roads, airports, railways and stadiums).

The objective of participants: to imagine and design, as a team, new digital services to optimise user experience with these infrastructures, from start to finish, so that they may fully take advantage of the services provided; to offer customers ever increasing peace of mind, comfort and fun!

In the end: a 10,000 prize to be shared between the winners, but above all an opportunity to be spotted, assisted and coached by the teams at VINCI to fully complete an actual experiment of the service that was imagined.

In order to prepare for the hackathon, a launching ceremony took place on April 2nd at the Allianz Riviera. It provided an opportunity to understand the challenges behind the contest and get feedback from the mentors, as well as meeting the other participants.
