Presentation of the Café des Aiglons inside the National Sports Museum

On Friday July 4th, Jean-Pierre Rivère, President of OGC Nice, has presented to the press, along with Annie Lhéritier, President of the Borad of the National Sports Museum, the new Café des Aiglons.

This sports café is dedicated to the memory of the OGC Nice club and is the only free and independent area of the National Sports Museum. It is decorated with objects illustrating the rich past of the club. 110 years of history for a club with a great heritage (3 victories in the French Cup) can be seen in 100 m2 decorated in red and black (the club's colors).

There is also a wall of jerseys and scarves, a replica of the Coupe de France won for the last time in 1997,  a jukebox with supporters chants « Nissa la Bella » as well as as display cases full of mythical pictures and press clippings.

Jean-Pierre Rivère insists that it is important for the OGC Nice museum to be in Allianz Riviera because it will be get memorabilia from the victories of the club in its new stadium.
