Information on TOP 14 semi-finals

In compliance with the French President’s directives to extend the lockdown through 11 May and the ban on large public gatherings until at least mid-July, the French National Rugby League (LNR) is envisaging two scenarios for this year’s TOP 14 competition: 
 
- Resuming the 2019-20 season at the end of June / early July, moving directly to the knockout phase enabling TOP 14 and PRO D2 league finals to be played by 18 July at the latest.
or
- Rescheduling the knockout phase of the 2019-20 season to August 2020 / beginning of September. These matches would be held, under conditions to be determined depending on available dates, prior to the 2020-21 season launch.
 
The LNR will make a decision concerning the modalities of the chosen scenario at the end of April, after the government sets procedures for ending lockdown which should be announced within the next two weeks. 
 
We will then be able to communicate the chosen scenario and propose appropriate options for any tickets purchased for the TOP 14 semi-finals.

We regret to announce that the LNR has officially announced that the TOP 14 semi-final matches in Nice are cancelled for this year.
However, the LNR promises to return to Nice in an upcoming season which will be announced in a press release this Wednesday 22 April.
