Allianz France chooses five startups for its business accelerator

After the completion of its call for candidates and of the final selection, the Allianz France accelerator has chosen 5 startups for its very first crop: InvestWall, LucieLabs, My Coach Foot, Synchronext and Vulog.

Here are the 5 startups selected by the Allianz France accelerator:

InvestWall: FinTech/a social network devoted to finance InvestWall, a collaborative platform devoted to finance, aims at collecting and organising collective intelligence by taking a different perspective on financial markets. InvestWall’s intent is to become a leading international player in the financial social networks market.

LucieLabs: connected objects/ connected stadium/entertainment LucieLabs can help to boost user experience in stadiums, concert halls and auditoriums through its connected smart LED bracelet. The crowd becomes an integral part of the event and interacts with the show (stage/equipment). The related (Software as a Service) platform will make any event more entertaining (collecting crowd movements, lighting effects linked to music) and can introduce new services (payment, admission control).

My Coach Foot: sports/Big Data/connected objects My Coach Foot is a multichannel application used by football coaches; it has 3,600 paid subscribers and 185,000 licensed players. My Coach Foot is the leader on the French market and used throughout the country. Currently experiencing significant growth, the company is spreading beyond the nation’s borders. It has also extended its offer to include connected objects and new disciplines.

Synchronext: predictive Big Data SynchroNext is specialised in the development of algorithms stemming from information physics. It aims at becoming one of the major players in the predictive web. Working in partnership with the CNRS and INRIA, the startup is developing SynchroBot, a conversational agent founded on a combination of semantic web, natural language processing and Big Data for the B2B and B2C markets. SynchroNext has also developed LifeWeather, used as a wide-scale laboratory to test predictive algorithms.

Vulog: car-sharing technology/Big Data Vulog is patented, next-generation (free floating) car-sharing technology, used by Auto-Bleue, located in Nice, as well as by various services throughout Europe and North America. Now that the market has become mature, the startup is entering a period of substantial growth.

Those 5 startups will join the Allianz acceleration programme in May for a 5-month period. They will be hosted inside the Allianz Riviera stadium in Nice. They will have access to first-rate funders and investors, including Bpifrance and Idinvest Partners, as well as enjoying structured guidance provided by a network of experts and mentors. They will also have the possibility of being offered a strategic partnership with Allianz and of testing their solution on an international scale thanks to the Group being established in over 70 countries.

“This initial selection is a key step for the Allianz accelerator and its commitment to startups, in a bid to help the emergence of future champions in Big Data and connected objects. We are proud of the interest that startups have shown in our unique value proposal. The crossover innovation that has been set up with those startups will contribute in reinventing the insurance profession, especially through the anticipation of future models,” explains Allianz Accelerator Director Sylvain Theveniaud.
