A stirring and unifying act of remembrance at the Allianz Riviera

This Saturday, during the match between OGC Nice and Le Mans FC, the Allianz Riviera hosted a moving and solemn tribute to the 86 victims of the July 14, 2016 attack.

At 8:25 PM, the stadium lights were dimmed, giving way to the glow of mobile phones held by thousands of spectators united in shared reflection.

At the center of the pitch, 86 children took turns lighting a torch as each victim's name was read aloud—symbolizing the passing of the torch, remembrance, and the entire community's enduring commitment over the past decade.

This moment of remembrance continued with the anthem "Nissa la Bella," a tifo display by the Populaire Sud stand, and a solemn tribute uniting supporters, players, and partners.

The Allianz Riviera reaffirms its unwavering support for the victims' families and loved ones, as well as for OGC Nice, for their steadfast commitment to this act of remembrance.
